Guidelines for Abstract Submission Form

Kindly fill all the fields in the form.

Please refrain from submitting the same abstract in multiple categories.

One of the authors should be life member of POS.
-
The first author will be the presenting author. The First (Presenting) author has to register for the conference. Failure of the presenting author to register for the conference will result in exclusion of the presentation from the conference presentations.

No change in presenting author is allowed after submission.

Original certificate of presentation will be awarded to the presenting author and co-author as well.

The Selection Committee highly advises authors to submit their abstracts at the earliest opportunity to prevent congestion during the final moments. Late submissions will regrettably not be taken into consideration.

Abstract submission results and abstract-related correspondence will be sent by email to the First (Presenting) author.

All submitted abstracts will undergo a peer-review process conducted by the Selection Committee. This review procedure maintains strict confidentiality, and any decisions reached are considered final.
Abstract Title & Content

Abstract title should be concise.
-
Avoid using abbreviations in the title.
-
Abstract Content (excluding Title) should include the following headings: Introduction, Aims, Methods, Results, Conclusions, and Financial Disclosures.

Do not include graphs, tables, images and references in the abstract.
-
Do not mention in the abstract the names of any affiliated institutes, academic institutions, hospitals, eye centers, etc. or names of any individuals involved in the study.
For Free Paper Presentation
The presentation time is 5 mins and discussion time is 3 mins.

For E-Posters

E-Posters should consist of a maximum of 6 Microsoft Power Point slides, including the title slide.
​

Use the first slide to show the title of the E-Poster and the author's information.
​

E-Posters should encompass text, figures, tables, and images.
​

Please note that video/animations are not permitted.​​
​
For E-Video
-
Participants are requested to send high-resolution videos ( in MPEG format).
-
Maximum length of video should be 8 minutes.
-
Video file size should be ideally less than 200 mb , smaller the better, but never more than 400 MB.

Video must be in the final edited version
​

Video should include an initial 15 -30 second silent footage with the title , authors, affiliations, and financial interest and disclaimer if any.

There should not be any copyright infringement of any image presented as part of the video or otherwise.
​

Please provide a concise description of the video (limited to a maximum of 250 words).
For Ophthalmic Photography
-
Participants are requested to send high-resolution photographs (in JPG Format, File size should not exceed 10 MB)
-
Submissions should exclusively relate to ophthalmic photography.

Please provide a concise description of the photograph (limited to a maximum of 150 words).

There should not be any copyright infringement of any image presented or otherwise.
​

Presenters are required to bring hard copies for competition (printed photograph should be 12 inches x 18 inches)
